Radical UK Cup
The new-look Radical UK Cup will be run over eight rounds in 2008 – Snetterton, Spa, Croft, Castle Combe, Donington, Brands Hatch, Rockingham and Silverstone GP

Each meeting will consist of:
  • Saturday - 30 minute  Qualifying 
  • Sunday - 2 × 50 minute races

Classes to cover all model of Radical Cars:

  • SR8
  • SR5, SR3 1500, PR6 1500
  • SR3 1300, SR4 1200/1300, PR6 1300
  • Any model with tuned Powertec engine
The Radical UK Cup is a one or two driver championship with mandatory pit-stops half way through the race time.  Each class will have a different length of pit-stop and single drivers will have to exit and then return to the car during this pit stop time.

Full TV coverage of all “Great & British” Festival races, pit lane and grid walkabouts on the Sunday lunch break make this championship not only attractive to the racer who wants more tracktime than the average championship but ideal for the Sponsor who wants more for their money.

Full spares and technical back-up from the works team will be available at all circuits. It is envisaged that full hospitality for guests, sponsors and drivers will be available.

Radical Club Cup
Aimed squarely at the “Gentleman” driver and Novice Driver this championship is already attracting a huge amount of interest.

Each meeting takes place on the Saturday of each Dunlop “Great & British” Festival (Snetterton, Croft, Castle Combe, Brands Hatch, Donington and Rockingham) and consists of:
  • 20 minutes qualifying
  • 2 × 20 minutes races
Classes for all bike-powered Radical car:
  • SR3 1500, PR6 1500
  • SR4 1200/1300 – “Biduro” Spec
  • PR6 1300, Prosport
  • Clubsport 1100
  • Any of the above with tuned engine/Clubsport with wing
A “Driver of the Day Award” of 25 litres of fuel sponsored by Sunoco, restrictions on tyres and the single day format will help to keep costs to a minimum whilst keeping enjoyment to a maximum.

A  “Drivers Get Together” on the Friday evening before each meeting will enable the drivers to get to know each other off the circuit as well as being given an informal coaching session from Radical’s superstar driver – Stuart Moseley.  A Radical chief technician and a Powertec representative will be present to answer questions on set-up etc.

Radical Championships Worldwide

Radical European Masters
The highest profile of all the Radical championships world wide and sanctioned by the FIA, the Radical European Masters forms one of the support championships to the prestigious Le Mans Series at all but one of its rounds.  The final of the Radical European Masters takes place at the Le Mans Bugatti Circuit as support to the DTM.

Each meeting will comprise one hour of untimed testing plus qualifying and two 50 minute races held over the three days of the Le Mans Series meeting.  Control tyres and fuel, mandatory staggered pit stops, and full hospitality will add to the value and excitement of this series.

  • SR8 LM
  • SR8 2.6
  • SR5 2-litre
  • SR3 1500
  • SR3 1300
  • PR6 1500
  • SR4 1200/1300, PR6 1300
  • Any model with tuned Powertec engine
Points are awarded to finishers in each class and trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class in each race.  An extra point is awarded for Pole Position in each race and for fastest lap in each race.

Spares support from Radical Germany will be available at every round and a full hospitality service is in place.

Teams from all over Europe already registering include Germany, Austria, Belgium, Lithuania, Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and the UK making this series truly European.
