Once In A Lifetime Experience For Charity Prizewinners

Experiencing the incredible speed and agility of the SR3 RS at Brands Hatch were two Radical rookies, having won the unique prize through the Prostate Cancer Charity.

Mark Potter and Raheel Qayyum had bid on the opportunity to spend the afternoon with the Radical Works Team through an auction organised by the charity. This money-can’t-buy prize included a ride with Phil Abbott around the 1.2 mile Brands Hatch Indy circuit, in a works SR3 RS.

Neither had set foot on a race circuit before, or in a Radical, and the expression on their faces at the end of the session said it all!

“It’s an awesome, fast and exhilarating experience, but not at all scary,” said Potter, first out in the damp conditions. “The way that the car glues to the bends is quite incredible.”

“Radical are proud to have supported the Prostate Cancer Charity, such a worthy cause,” said Amanda Abbott, Radical’s Championship Co-ordinator. “Working with Radicals on a daily basis, you sometimes take the incredible performance of these cars for granted; Raheel and Mark’s reactions show just how incredible our cars really are.”
