All Change For UK & Clubman's Cup Competitors

25th March 2010

With the new season approaching, many established Radical racers have upgraded to new or fresh equipment in their bids for the Competition Car Insurance Radical UK Cup, and the Quaife Radical Clubman’s Cup.

Manhal Allos was testing his new 2.6-litre SR8 alongside his UK Cup rivals for the first time, and was pleased with the results, driving on a much drier track than at his Rockingham shakedown two weeks ago. “Everything is going well and the car is on the pace,” said Manhal.

Rachel Davies, the 2010 season’s sole female driver, was testing her red SR3 for the first time. Rachel contested the Clubman’s Cup last year in an SR4, scooping the Clubsport Class honours in the process.

“It’s been too wet to go truly hell-for-leather, but I’m thrilled with my new SR3,” said Rachel. “It’s an amazing step up from the SR4, even quicker and more grippy.”
